Biography

Mr Ochieng Bob Evans graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Marketing Option) from Maseno University. He then proceeded to Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology where he graduated with a Master of Science degree in Procurement and Logistics. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Supply Chain Management from the same University. He has finished coursework and is currently undertaking research.

Mr Bob Ochieng worked as an Account Executive with Multi-Choice Kenya Limited and then latter joined Barclays Bank of Kenya a leading multinational Bank operating in various African countries. He served in various roles in the Bank and left the Bank when serving in its Procurement department.

Mr Ochieng Bob Evans is affiliated to several professional bodies around the globe. Locally he  is a full and active member of Kenya Institute of Supplies Management(KISM).He was one of the few key resource persons that assisted in the development of the both Associate and Professional courses currently being examined by Kenya Institute of Supplies Management. Internationally he is a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply(CIPS),one of the leading association of procurement professional in the world.He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport,a United Kingdom based professional body.

His research interest is in the field of Procurement,Logistics and Supply Chain Management. His current research project is: The effect of Supplier relationship management on firm performance of manufacturing companies in Kenya.
